Customization & Configuration Section:

Website Administrator can configure and customize features under Control Panel -/ Settings -/ Configurations -/ Feature Section.

There are three sections of feature customization.

i: Core Features:

Under core feature section, administrator can toggle on | off the following core features of ASP.NET Video Starter Kit.

• Videos: Toggle on or off videos whole section & feature.
• Audio Files: Toggle on or off audio files whole section & feature.
• Photos: Toggle on or off photos whole section & feature.
• Communities / Groups: Toggle on or off groups / communities whole section & feature.
• Channels: Toggle on or off channels whole section & feature.
• Blogs: Toggle on or off blogs whole section & feature.
• Friends: Toggle on or off friends whole section & feature.
• Subscription: Toggle on or off subscription whole section & feature.
• Messaging Board: Toggle on or off internal messaging system whole section & feature.
• Upload Content: Ability to allow user to upload contents (videos, audio files, photos, blog posts etc)

ii: Section Features:

Under section feature section, administrator can toggle on | off the any available section or part or small feature of ASP.NET Video Starter Kit. Main feature includes

• Archives: Toggle on | off content archives section.
• Tags: Toggle on | off contents tags section.
• Comments: Toggle on | off comments feature from videos, audio files, photos and blogs.
• Video Response: Toggle on | off video responses section from videos.
• Statistics & Data: Toggle on | off statistics section from video & audio preview page.
• Playlist: Toggle on | off playlist feature.
• Filter: Toggle on | off content filter section from website e.g filter content by today, this week, this month, all time.
• Related Content: Toggle on | off related content section.
• Advertisement: Toggle on | off advertisement from website.
• Email Processing: Toggle on | off external email processings.
• New user verification: Toggle on | off new user verification processes at time of registration.
• Watermark on video: Toggle on | off posting watermark on video.
• Adult verification: Toggle on | off adult verification. Adult warning appear in case of adult content.

iii: Login / Authorization Section:

Under login, authorization section, site administrator can set options whether login required for some actions.

• Rating: Login required for rating content.
• Comment: Login required for posting comment.
• Points: Login required for posting points (Like | Dislike).
