Membership management has been extended to control administration part of website by removing separate administration control. Now user with administrator privilage can access control panel, manage control panel all available options, give administrator right to other members and can upload content directly from control panel with administrator right.

In previous versions control panel administrators and users were no direct relationship. Administator information were stored in admin table while normal users information were store in users table. Administrators only access control panel features and maintain website without uploading content to website while normal users can upload contents.

In Video Starter Kit 5.2 we extend normal users behaviour as role based control and removed separate administration management. There are two main roles,

• Administrators (full access, readonly access)
• Normal Users

Administrators can

• Act as normal user to use website in similar fashion as other user done.
• Act as administrator to access control panel, maintain website and upload contents (videos, audio files, images, post blogs, create groups) directly from control panel.
• Can assign administrator role to other users.

Normal user can

• Use every features available on website without accessing control panel.
